Results of State track meet

A trip to Austin for state championships left the Leopard track and field team disappointed.

Junior Katie Ruhala has won three state titles in track in the past two years, but after a injury plagued season she failed to defend her titles this year, finishing seventh in the 3200m and fifth place in 1600m.

Junior Ashley Bassett, a new face at the state meet, finished seventh 300m hurdles.

The reigning 4x400m champs finished in fifth place.
