Earlier this school year, The Red Ledger made the jump from paper to digital. Now, The Red Ledger has made another transition to accommodate a different area of users as the digital newspaper has now extended to the mobile community in the form of an app.
The move makes the articles and other content available to a larger selection of people while allowing faster and easier access to the site. With a mobile version of the site, users do not have to directly use a computer to access and view the online newspaper.
This new feature was added to the new 2.0 version of the already available LHS app. In sync with other announcement and event features, this new addition fits in with the other content on the app, allowing students and other users to stay up to date with school life and information.
The Red Ledger app can be found as a part of the LHS app for free on the App Store or on devices with iOS 4.0 or higher.

Increasing numbers of people are beginning to switch to android powered devices. It’s a bit frustrating that it has been over a year and a version has not been released for the Android Market. I know the coding is different on the platforms but when the consumer base is there, leaving out a large chunk of the school populous is a bit unfortunate.
