Tennis falls short of Wakeland

Missing two of its top four players, the Leopard tennis team fell short against Frisco Wakeland losing 12-7. After going down 5-2 after doubles, the Leopards played the singles closer losing 7-5.

With several matches being decided with additional games or tiebreakers, the match could have gone to either team. Without its number two boy, Oliver Brewer, and the number one girl, Anna Dickens, the Leopards were forced to move several players up, leading the team to come up short.

The Leopards are looking to rebound in their first individual tournament of the season Friday at Ennis High School.
