Dick’s Last Resort, located in Dallas right by Hooters and The House Of Blues, mainly servers burgers and drinks. When first walking into Dick’s, there are signs hanging on the wall of people wearing paper hats. It is not exactly a friendly greeting: They call it Dick’s for a reason.
The staff there is paid to be rude and give the costumers a hard time and a good laugh. Overall it was pretty funny how they picked on certain people and acted like they did not care about the quality of their service.
The food served is typical American sandwiches: Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Philly Cheese Steak, Chicken Fried Chicken, and the typical American burger with a side of delicious seasoned fries. It is a fun environment, but having young children there probably isn’t a good idea. It is for an older crowd; some of the things they put on the hats can be inappropriate.
The paper hats there are intended to bring a laugh. Some of the things they say can be an undeniable truth and make people mad or could give them a good laugh. Over all, it was a good experience: the food was delicious and the rudeness was entertaining.
