“My wife and I were looking for new opportunities to teach at different schools, so this became an opportunity, and Coach Ross is someone I’ve respected for a while. The opportunity to work with Coach Ledford, a guy who I went to high school with, seemed pretty awesome. My goals for this year are to enjoy the Lovejoy community and assimilate into it. This community has been awesome to me, and I hope to help them out a little bit. [learn] from everyone here, and [become] a part of this culture. It’s been amazing so far through two weeks. It has been nothing but joy and pleasure to come to Lovejoy High School everyday. So previously the 2015-2016 school year, I taught at Sachse High School, and then from the 2016 until 2021 I was at Parker High School.”
