Coach, math teacher Vincent Williams
“I first came to Lovejoy because I got a call about a possible job in football at first. Then afterwards, I came over here to visit, and I just thought it seemed like a pretty great place to work. We have a solid group of students. It’s great, and I wanted to be a part of that. My goals for this year are honestly just to help my students and the players that I coach to be as successful as they can be, to get assimilated, and kind of get my routine going. So far, it has been good. The teachers and the coaches have been great. The students have been great, [with] lots of smiles. A lot of people are helping me. A lot of people have been helping me get things taken care of and to figure out the Lovejoy way of doing things, so it’s been good. This is my 10th year teaching, so I’ve been doing it for quite some time. [It is the] same thing with coaching. I just got here from Lancaster High School.”
