“I had heard lots of good things from teachers that I knew that taught here. Actually my favorite, one of my favorite teachers that I had in high school, also teaches here. I’m going to say mostly my goal is to learn the culture of Lovejoy, so I can kind of see where I fit and where I can make improvements from being here. I love it. It’s so magical. I’m so excited to be here. I taught my first year out of college. I taught one year at Plano Senior High, and then I taught at two different elementary schools in Coppell. So, I am going from little kids to big kids, but I also took a few years off in between.”
