On The Spot: Motivation
Audrey McCaffity, Staff Writer
Sophomore Taylor Murphy
“The motivation that I use to get through the week is sports. Being able to relax at sports after school is really nice because it helps me unwind from the day. It gives my brain a break from school before the next day.”
Sophomore Sydney Legg
“My biggest motivation is being able to see my friends, and participate in the things I want to [do]. I feel like you have to get through the school day, and get through other things that you have to do, so the faster I do that the more I can do things that I enjoy.”
Sophomore Mason Wallace
“What gets me through my day, is knowing the fact that I can go home, and that life will always get better.”
Sophomore Reid Jacob
“My dad is my biggest motivation because he pushes me to be the best. He makes sure that I make the right decisions, and I do whatever I can to make him proud.”
Sophomore Laney Dawson
“I’m motivated by doing well in school and coffee because I get energy from the caffeine. [If you need motivation] drink some coffee.”
Junior Mia Chase
“My biggest motivation is probably my friends because they push me to be a better athlete, and to be better physically and mentally. Good things come when you work hard.”
