On The Spot: COVID-19 Halloween celebrations
Junior Landry Diercks
“This year, my friends and I are going to go to my friend’s house, dressed up, and we are going to eat a lot of candy and watch scary movies. I am also going to make Halloween masks for some of my friends.”
Sophomore Izzy Burke
“We have a family group of friends, and we always get together for holidays like Halloween. We have a big wooded area in our backyard where we are going to hold the party. We might set up a haunted house back there, too.”
Freshman Grace Motsney
“The day before Halloween at school, I am going to wear clown makeup, and I will probably make some of my friends do it with me.”
Sophomore Alex Williams
“I am going as a teletubby, and I am going to be the purple teletubby. Purple is controversially the best teletubby actually."
Junior Averi Carlson
“We are going to have a hoco dinner with a bunch of friends. We are going to dress up after, and I am going with my boyfriend.”
Senior Abigail Le
“For Halloween, my friends and I will dress up, possibly trick or treat if it is safe to do so and eat out together. There isn’t anything specifically planned, but we’ll dress up for fun and try to make the most of Halloween. We’re still figuring out what to wear, but we might coordinate or just wear something completely different from each other.”
