My family and I have actually been in quarantine since spring break when all of this just started because we wanted to be cautious since we all have asthma, and my dad has it severely. Our mentality for this has been that things should just go as normal with slight changes. So everything has been normal as in we still eat meals together, watch movies and play games. We’ve been going on evening walks together and we recently got some cows so we go feed them and just enjoy the sunset which we wouldn’t do before because we were just on different schedules. We do Group FaceTime with our extended family, and my mom and I have been able to bake together which we haven’t been able to do in awhile. Our family has for sure spent more time together than before. Normally I’m at school all day and My dad is working so we only get to see each other in the evenings for dinner. But now since we’re all home we’re with each other all day, and it’s nice. I am about to leave for college and so we’ve looked at it as an opportunity for me to make up for lost time. My favorite memory I will have from all of this is being able to have church from home. It’s been nice to see that we can still practice our religion as a family in our home.. Prom was supposed to be last weekend, but due to the virus we could not have it. So, my friends and family dressed up and we did a virtual prom on zoom. It was actually so much fun and it was really memorable because I danced with my dad. You don’t plan for these things to happen, but we made the best out of the situation.
