On The Spot: Thoughts on TikTok
TikTok, a social media platform formerly known as Musical.ly, gained popularity among Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube in the past year. According to the research firm Sensor Tower, TikTok was downloaded over 750 million times from Oct. 2018 to Oct. 2019, which is more than each of the previously mentioned social media apps.
