As December 2019 concludes, many students say goodbye to their first full decade of life. The years marked their childhood and adolescence, while staff members said goodbye to a decade full of various national changes, new jobs and medical hope.

“I can’t really remember the beginning of the decade. I remember the worst year in the decade was 2016. I think it should be erased from public conscience. 2017 was when Vine died, and that’s how I mark my time, before Vine, during Vine, and after Vine. 2018 was when TikTok started to get popular, not really sure how I feel about that. This year has been pretty interesting, can’t wait to enter the 2020s, it’ll be pretty fun.”
