The life skills room is decorated with the theme of Frozen. They are having kids write why they are “worth melting for” on the wall of paper.
The Red Ledger: What’s the theme of your door?
Amber Bassett: Its Disney Frozen.
TRL: How did you get the idea?
AB: One of the sayings is “what makes you worth melting for” so we are going to have kids write on the blue paper in chalk what makes them worth melting for or what makes them special.
TRL: Have you participated in the contest before?
AB: This is my first year here so no.
TRL: Are you excited about the competition?
AB: Yes I’m excited to win.
TRL: Who do you think is going to win? You guys?
AB: Absolutely.
TRL: Are your kids excited about the door?
AB: Our room is very excited. We are out there to win.
