“Take classes that excite and interest you, not ones you think you should take. If you want to do something, do it. Don’t let people talk you out of it because it’s something they wouldn’t do. “The advice that I would give to underclassmen is to enjoy every moment of high school- even the little ones. When you become a senior, you realize that high school actually went by pretty fast, and there are things that you wanted to do before you graduated that you never got done. “My advice for high school is to try to not procrastinate because then your workload increases. For example, Chemistry homework would be on Tuesday and Geometry homework would be on Thursday because Chemistry has a quiz Wednesday & Geometry has a test on Friday.”
Senior Joey Chavez

Also, talk to your teachers. I know they can be scary at times but they are there to help you and they want you to succeed. Also, put your all into high school. I know you’re gonna want to try and seem cooler by ...

I am now close friends with some people who I normally would not have talked to, but I’m so glad I got to know them. We truly have one of the best visual arts programs and teachers as well, so I would de...
