Being a cheerleader, it hits home because we started ‘Make school spirit cool again.’ I definitely think we can always improve on our school spirit, especially when it comes to the people who think they are too cool for school. I think that Dirty Drumline is doing a great job and Matt Piccirillo is doing great, too, just trying to get everyone hyped. I do think that not everyone is complying with a simple clap along, but I definitely think that it has improved a lot since last year. [School spirit] means just having a good time, just showing your school pride, and not being a Debby downer.
