Relay for Life, a fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, took place on the track on Friday, April 26 from 6 p.m.–midnight. Participants could take part in various activities including an obstacle course, hamster ball races, a craft table and a pancake bar. The survivors’ lap allowed cancer survivors in the area to be recognized at the event, later followed by the Luminaria lap recognizing those who have passed. During the event, at least one member from each team walked the track at all times. According to the event’s website, the school’s 2019 relay raised $11,331.34.
