Daniel Keywork
TRL: What motivated you to sign up for Mr. Lovejoy?
Daniel Keywork: Probably just seeing the people doing it my freshman, sophomore and junior year.
TRL: Have you been involved in any other competitions like this?
DK: No, this is something a little outside my comfort zone but i feel i’ll still have fun doing it and participating in it.
TRL: What makes you different from all the other competitors?
DK: I think what makes me different is not a lot of my class knows me but i still have had people out there who wouldn’t expect me to know moe
TRL: Which portion of the competition are you looking forward to the most?
DK: I’m probably looking forward to the talent, not just my own. [I’m looking forward to watching] some of the people I’m competing against because I know one of them has an amazing talent.
TRL: What have you been doing in your lifetime to prepare for this event?
DK: I’ve been mostly just trying to keep myself calm because I don’t want to get myself too worked up on whether I may lose or win. Its just personally for me about having fun.
TRL: How would you feel if you won the title Mr. Lovejoy?
DK: I would feel happy, mostly shocked. I dont think I’m well enough known or think that I would be over the top on what I do.
