The Red Ledger: What motivated you to sign up for Mr. Lovejoy?

Arvien Hassanzadeh: It’s getting my message out there. It’s for the sake of doing what I do, and I just want to showcase who I am, and what I do for the people around me.

TRL: Have you been involved in any other competitions like this?

AH: I have been involved in some competitions but not like this, no pageantry, it’s all mostly gaming tournaments.

TRL: What makes you different from all the other competitors?

AH: My friends say it’s my personality, and how abstract it is.

TRL: Which portion of the competition are you looking forward to the most?

AH: The talent.

TRL : What have you been doing in your lifetime to prepare for this event?

AH:  I’ve worked hard. I’ve come up with my  “A” material. I’ve cut down on the junk that I eat so my face clears up, and I’m just trying to make ends meet.

TRL: How would you feel if you won the title Mr. Lovejoy?

AH:  Personally, I don’t expect to win because the competition is steep. There’s some gifted people with amazing talent. If I won, which I’m hoping I do, I’d feel just incredible. I’ve won competitions before, and it’s just this rush of adrenaline. It’s this feeling that’s uncomparable and you just feel you’re on top.
