Next week’s Homecoming festivities will kick off with Powder Puff Volleyball on Monday.  The guys’ volleyball tournament is hosted on Monday, Oct. 22, in the main gym from 7–9 p.m. The winning team plays an all-teacher team immediately after the flag football game on Wednesday night. 

“We’re gonna win this tournament for sure,” senior Christian Kwon said. “I’m not really worried about facing any of the teachers except Coach [Jason] Nicholson and [counselor Mary] Shaw.” 

Players participating in the tournament were chosen by the Student Council via Google form and went through a process of requirements to be accepted into the tournament.

“The people on the current teams need to be able to turn in money for shirts, cans, and waivers before the deadline,” senior Brian Hand said. “[If they don’t meet these requirements] they are replaced.”
