Angry: Future pressures

We’re angry at something that we don’t really have the right to be angry about. We are angry that time passes so fast. With each day that flies past, with each tedious essay and endless lecture, time is stolen from us, and there is simply no way we can stop it. There will come a day when we all put on the cap and gown and walk out of the high school doors for the last time, when the days where we get to see our friends every day will be long gone–this day approaches far too quickly. Each bell that rings is one closer to the last we will hear within the walls of Lovejoy. Each art project and musical and game that passes is one that we cannot get back. We try to cherish every moment, but sometimes it’s hard not to take advantage of what we have now. So yes, we are angry. Our feud with time is a long brewing one, and it only grows as time passes. We do not want this time in our life to end, but we know it comes quickly.
