On The Spot: ‘The Bachelor’

“I think it’s good that the producers let  the bachelor or the bachelorette give their list of people they would be interested in so that it's not 20 random people that the bachelor or bachelorette aren’t attracted to; however I don’t like how all the contestants are extremely pretty and fit because that is really unrealistic.”

“'The Bachelor' is a really interesting show to watch because of all the drama, but I don’t think it should be a realistic kind of situation, because it's ridiculous that the bachelor or bachelorette is expected to date all the contestants at once.”

“I believe 'The Bachelor' is like a glorified version of speed dating. I don’t mind the fact that all the people on the show are attractive people. I think it makes for an interesting show.”

“I think it’s wrong for one guy to flirt with a bunch of girls, and it’s awkward that the bachelor is trying to have a relationship with 20 people at once.”

“I think that the show is cringy overall, because if a guy is that incapable of finding someone that they like then they’re the problem. I think it promotes the judgment of women and it is unfair because the show breaks people's hearts.”

“I enjoy watching 'The Bachelor,' however I feel like the contestants are signing up for a normal person’s worst nightmare because I would never hope to be dating the same guy as my friends. However, I don’t think I can watch this season, because I feel that 'The Bachelor' this season is not someone who I have similarities with, as opposed to past seasons.”
