Besiege great for price tag

Cameron Stapelton, Staff Reporter

Just like free games on Steam, finding good Early Access games can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Fortunately, the newly released Besiege, from indie developer Spiderling Studios is that needle.

Besiege is a building game, with players building completely customizable machines that can be huge flaming cars of death or well thought out, carefully constructed masterpieces. The style follows a medieval architecture flow as well as medieval weapons and building equipment.

The game has two main game modes: sandbox and story. The story has only one world at the moment, but will provide hours of fun none the less. The world, called Ipsilon, has fifteen mini-missions that provide many different types of puzzles, obstacles, and interesting environments. Some puzzles are intentionally easy, while others take a lot of thought and are extremely satisfying to complete.

For the light $8 price tag, this game is non-stop fun and adventure for hours. This game is recommended for any fan of puzzle or building games who needs a good challenge.
