Time is running out for Chick-fil-A lovers that want to get their free coffee in this February’s promotion that ends Saturday.

“I love Chick-fil-A coffee and I’m so glad it’s free because I would go there just for that,” freshman Jacqueline Genovese said. “My parents love it too and we go there almost everyday before school.”

Iced and hot coffee is offered to all customers

“Whether paired with our breakfast or as an afternoon treat, we think our THRIVE Farmers coffee is perfect for any time of day,” Chick-fil-A vice president of menu strategy and development David Farmer said on the Chick-fil-A website. “It tastes incredible while also doing good in the world. What better way to let our customers experience it for themselves than to give it away for an entire month.”

This restaurant is offering THRIVE farmers coffee. Chick-fil-A’s iced coffee is prepared with a select brand of cold-brewed coffee, two percent milk, and it is sweetened with pure cane syrup.

“I think their iced coffee is way better than their hot coffee because it’s not as strong and it’s sweeter,” freshman Megan White said.

The promotion is for a 12 oz. hot coffee or a 16 oz. iced coffee. It is available during all business hours, and it is limited to one cup of coffee, per visit. No substitutions are available.

“During the cold winter months I love the hot coffee in the morning to warm me up,” sophomore Samuel Ma said.

The promotion appears to be working on a local level.

“A lot of my friends have been going there because of the free coffee,” sophomore Eddie Silva said. “Part of their breakfast is free now and that means they can save money and it tastes good.”
