The school’s jazz band will be having a fundraiser Saturday from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Heritage Ranch in McKinney.

Limited tickets are available for $55 in advance and will come with dinner, along with music from the jazz band and an open dance floor. Proceeds will sponsor the band’s trips to competitions and help give them opportunities to expand their audience as the event is for adults only.

“It’s our first annual event with Heritage Ranch and in preparation the jazz band has been working up thirty charts within the last twenty rehearsals,” jazz band director Diana Williams said. “It’s gonna be a lot of fun, lots of food, lots of dancing, lots of great music: it’ll be a memorable event.”
