The naughty and the nice: exclusive interview with Santa

Santa Claus has been visiting the Villages at Allen for the past couple of weeks to take pictures with children and get their Christmas wish lists. On one of his brief breaks, The Red Ledger caught up with the big man.
The Red Ledger: How prepared do you feel for this Christmas?
Santa Claus: “Well, well prepared. We’ve done a lot of research and we are good to go.”
The Red Ledger: What is the most requested item this year?
SC: “The Frozen movie and their dolls, for sure.”
The Red Ledger: How many trips do you make out of the North Pole each year?
SC: “Normally twice.”
The Red Ledger: What is your favorite location to deliver presents to?
SC: “I love to deliver to Maui because it is nice and warm.”
The Red Ledger: How well have the elves been performing lately?
SC: “They have been doing great.”
The Red Ledger: When do you celebrate Christmas with Mrs. Claus?
SC: “We have our celebrations on the 26th, once I get home.”
The Red Ledger: How soon do preparations for next year begin?
SC: “Immediately. I always have to be ahead of the game in this business.”
The Red Ledger: What changes are you looking to implement in the workshop next quarter?
SC: “We will have to update some electronic stuff to stay up to date.”
The Red Ledger: What is Mrs. Claus asking for this year?
SC: “She is asking for a trip to a nice warm spot.”
The Red Ledger: What reindeer do you think will be most valuable during this year?
SC: “Oh, Rudolph by all means.”
The Red Ledger: Will you be vacationing after the big night?
SC: “Definitely, we are headed to Hawaii.”
The Red Ledger: How do you celebrate a successful year with the elves?
SC: “We have a lot of eggnog where I’m from.”
