Every year, students can sign up to take a mock SAT or ACT exam to help prepare them for the real test with the next opportunity coming at Saturday’s ACT mock exam.
“About 60 students [from Lovejoy] took the mock SAT,” mock SAT director Lynda Fleming said. “Nationwide, the average score is about 1500, at Lovejoy the average was 1560.”
The mock exams can be a great benefit for students.
“[The test can help you] get a feel for the test, get a feel for your strengths and weaknesses, and the more you practice the better you score,” Fleming said. “I absolutely recommend students taking the mock tests. It is a full length test so there really is no difference.”
