Number one team stands in softball’s way
To advance to the third round of the playoffs the Leopard softball team will have to get past the areas number one team, the Ennis Lions. The best of three series starts Thursday night in Ennis.

On the road to state, softball faces a major roadblock as the Leopards travel to Ennis to take on the top ranked Lions at 7:00 p.m. in the opening game in a best-of-three series.
This game will definitely not be easy as Ennis has not lost at home this year.
The Lions may have revenge on their mind as the Leopards knocked out Ennis in last year’s playoffs.
The winner of the series will take on the winner of the Whitehouse High School versus Texas High School matchup.
Regardless of what happens tonight, the teams will face off in game two here on campus Friday night.
