For the first time in three years the softball team failed to win the district championship but  that hasn’t prevented the team from making a playoff push.

 On April 24, the girls traveled an hour and a half out to Sulphur Springs High School to play the first game in a best of 3 series with the Leopards coming home with a 7-3 win.

On Friday the girls suffered an 11-1 loss putting the fate of the series on the results of Saturdays game. However, that meant another trip out to Sulphur Springs.

It was a tight game, but the Leopards finished came out with a 10-9 win earning the Bi-District Championships.

Next up, another best-of-3 series Thursday, Friday, and (if needed) Saturday against Ennis.
