The NCAA men’s basketball tournament is in the final stages, and it’s certainly lived up to the madness its known for as some surprising shockers have left the students’ brackets in shambles. The Red Ledger was able to catch up with some students about what games ruined their bracket, and who they think will win it all.

“When Mercer upset Duke my bracket was done for,” sophomore Johnny Grado said. “I think Florida will win the championship though.”

“When Kansas lost my bracket had no hope,” freshman Brice May said. “I’m still rooting for Michigan State to win it all.”

“A bunch of games messed up mine, like when Oklahoma State lost,” sophomore Hunter Finner said. “I’m thinking Kentucky will be the national champs.”

“I thought Albany was going to upset Florida in the first round but I was wrong. I had them going all the way,” freshman Matthew Almy said. “I always root for underdogs so I want Dayton to win the championship.”

“The Duke game blew my chances at a perfect bracket, but I still think Michigan is going to win the championship,” freshman Abe Dueck said.

“When Dayton upset Ohio State my bracket started getting messed up,” sophomore Alec Arbabi said. “I want Louisville to win now since they’re the defending champs.”

“The Duke game caught me by surprise. I didn’t expect them to lose to a team like Mercer,” freshman Drew Hinton said. “Now I’m rooting for Florida to win.”
