While most students spent the past week relaxing on a beach, up in the mountains, or embracing all that Allen, Texas has to offer, Leopard athletes were still competing.

The baseball team played two games, Tuesday against Denison and Friday against Sherman. The Leopards beat Denison 12-10 as sophomore Jacob Parrott hit a walk-off homerun. They also beat Sherman 11-0.

The softball team beat Sherman 17-0 on Monday and lost to Royse City 12-7.

Boys and girls soccer played over the break. The boys won 5-1 on Tuesday against Garland Lakeview Centennial and tied Wylie East 1-1 on Friday resulting in first place in districts.

The girls soccer team lost to Wylie East 6-0 on Friday. They will be seeded third going into playoffs.

Of all the teams the Leopards faced, they were the only ones on Spring Break, most only practiced a couple times a week versus the other schools who were practicing on a normal schedule.
