It’s up to the boys if either of the school’s basketball team’s will be making a long playoff run. The girls suffered a first round playoff loss (52-43) to Sulphur Springs on Tuesday, Feb. 11. The boys get their chance Tuesday, Feb. 18 when they take on the Mt. Pleasant Tigers at Grand Saline High School.

“[I think we are ready for the game], we have prepared hard for them and we are continuing to prepare,” basketball player Sam Victor said. “It should be a good game. I don’t think we can underestimate them and I just think we can run a transition and with the height advantage we will be able to get rebounds more and second chance opportunities.”
