For the second year in a row, the Leopard football was eliminated from the playoffs in the second round.  Friday it was a 64-13 loss to the Ennis Lions. First-string quarterback Bowman Sells returned to throw in the final game of his sophomore year. A wintry mist shrouded Lumpkin Stadium, and temperatures reached below 34 degrees; preventing both the Majestics and the band from performing, eventually leading the band to leave at the start of half time to protect its instruments. Despite the winter conditions, Leopard fans stuck it out and continued to cheer while huddled in blankets with hot chocolate in their hands.
