Last Friday, sophomore quarterback Bowman Sells was starting his second game since he returned from a collarbone injury.

In a dramatic turn of events however, Sells was on the sidelines once again with a injury and sophomore Dakota Michaels was thrown back into the quarterback position.

This was the second time that Michaels had to come in mid-game to fill the shoes of Sells. However, Michaels was better prepared this past Friday and completed his quarterback duties with 90 yards, a 75 percent completion rate and zero interceptions.

Michaels was chosen as the MVP for the Leopards 35-21 win over the Sherman Bearcats.
