Musical auditions approach
October 15, 2013
Audition packets for Annie are already available on the table outside the choir room. Auditioners must sign up for a time prior to the auditions which will take place October 17 and October 19.
Annie is a musical about a redheaded orphan girl who is adopted by billionaire Oliver Warbucks, who starts a search to find her real parents, that is corrupted by her cruel orphan matron, Mrs. Hannigan.
“Anyone is welcome to audition,” Theatre Director Jessica Brewster said. “You don’t have to be a part of theatre or choir to audition, and we love having new talent around.”
Annie is a large musical with plenty of opportunities for anyone to be involved. Students from the elementary and middle schools will also be involved in the production.
“The musical is a great opportunity for the community to come together,” Brewster said. “We chose Annie because bottom line every other year we do a big community blowout musical, one that incorporates everyone and is very family friendly.”

I hope Emmy Staerck wins the part of a orphan!
