Fantasy football is by far the most popular fantasy sport, (ESPN reports say about 26 million people participated in 2012) and with the 2013-2014 NFL season just underway, so too are fantasy leagues.

Fantasy football players would agree that the best part about fantasy football is the draft, it’s competitive and can be nerve racking, which makes it fun and entertaining.

“The draft is always fun when you play with your friends because you can take the players they want and make them mad.” sophomore CJ Vogel said.

Striving for a dream team is every fantasy football players goal, even though it’s hard to get who you want, in the end most players are satisfied with their team.

“My team is going to be pretty good I think, it got an A- draft rank. My number one player to get is always Adrian Peterson but I rarely get him.” freshman Luke Leggett said.

Fantasy football is a tradition for a lot of people and it can make the NFL more interesting to people that aren’t football fans.

“We have been playing Fantasy Football as a family for the last 6 years,” teacher Tamara Sakuda said.
