As the colder weather approaches, Starbucks has become more and more popular with the student and staff population here on campus. With rumors of a “secret menu” floating around, it was time some investigative work was done.

But despite the rumors, there really is no “secret” menu. However, customers can make up their own blend of a coffee beverage for the same price as other coffee drinks that are on the menu.

“Some people have just made their own blend of drinks and then put a common name with them, we don’t actually have a Cap’n Crunch frap, just syrups we can mix together that sort of taste like Cap’n Crunch,” assistant manager Keith said.

However, the ability to get these non-menu drinks can depend on the Starbucks.

“Some locations might not know how to make the drink you find off the ‘secret menu’ on the Internet because not all locations know about it, but we do,” Keith said.
