1. Establish a curfew with your parents.
2. Invest in a good backpack because you get a lot of papers.
3. Learn how to manage your time as best you can. Know what days you have extra-curricular activities and what days you have that are free.
4. Don’t be offended when upperclassmen don’t want to talk to you or start making fun of you, they just like to mess with you while they can for the year.
5. Don’t be afraid of change and go out of your comfort zone.
6. Know who to trust and who not to trust.
7. Go to school events, get involved in clubs or extra-curricular things.
8. Use your passing period time wisely. Know how long it takes to get from class to class on time and how much time you can spend talking each period.
9. Know your place. We all have to be at the bottom at one point and we will all be at the top at one point, your time will come.
10. Don’t grow up too fast. Enjoy your freshman year, because before you know it, it’s over. Make the best of it. High school goes by fast, enjoy every minute you can.
