With over half the gym behind them, both the varsity girls and boys basketball teams prospered over the Eagles to win their district games.
The girls played first, cruising to a 53-32 win. Sophomore Shani Rainey led the way with 15 points, followed by junior Caty Beth Holstead with 10 points.
While the boys started off slow, they quickly caught up and broke open a close game winning 60-36.
Top scorers included senior Joe Gonzalez with 22 points followed by Junior Jake Flaggert with 19 points.
