The new school year brought various personnel changes on campus.

One is the hiring of a new head baseball coach, Brooke Court. Court, who is entering his 12th season as a coach, also teaches sophomore Pre-AP World History.

Court began his coaching career at Bishop Dunne, private school in South Dallas. From there it was on to Anna High School for one year, then to McKinney North, where he stayed for six years.

Court is already impressed by what the team has shown him during the fall season. Most notably, he has been thrilled with the team’s hustle and ability to catch on quickly to the new plays and ideas he has given the players.

The team advanced to the regional quarterfinals of the playoffs last year, finishing with a record of 26-9. The baseball team begins its season in March.
