As the school year begins, the cheerleaders prepare for a jam-packed football season. With this comes pep rallies, and pep rallies mean routines. Lots of routines. In the past, performances meant getting as many people capable of producing a safe routine.
Normally, this would be a difficult task, for multiple injuries or disciplinary actions were taken, preventing everyone from coming together as a whole.
This year the new varsity cheer squad has already broken the curse of not having everyone perform together for the first pep rally of the new school year. At the first Friday pep rally of the year, the squad had every member of the team performing of the routine. There were no significant injuries that prevented the girls from having the entire squad out on the court.
With more pep rallies to come, look to see if the team can continue to keep the curse diminished.
