The Red Ledger

Lauren Gardner
Lauren Gardner, a junior, dreamer, logophile, and artist, strongly believes in the importance of pursuing your passions as well as fully evolving into who you are. During her first year on The Red Ledger, she will contribute as a staff writer. Though Lauren’s most natural style of writing is writing anthologies, (one of which she plans to publish soon); she is excited to adapt the new idea of  journalistic writing as well as increase her writing skill beyond creative and narrative format. As an individual, Lauren is passionate about social injustice, cognitive and behavioral studies, traveling, the arts, and cultural awareness. Lauren believes in the philosophy of broadening your mind’s capacity and analyzing life in a deeper perspective then at face value. Throughout her life, she feels writing has allowed her to fully express who she is, and without it, she would not be where she is today. Whether she is aimlessly sketching, fiddling with new musical instruments, or creating pieces of literary work, Lauren hopes that overall she can bring consciousness and change in the world.
