The Red Ledger

Gaby Garcia
Sophomore Gaby Garcia spends her days running around town (literally) and finding some way to work out any and every way she can. Working out and running are definitely Gaby’s two favorite activities, which explains why she is in Majestics, the school dance team. She has been dancing ever since she could walk. She decided to take a different approach in fall of 2016, her dancing career by transitioning from ballet to a drill precision. Gaby looks for outlets where she is able to distract herself for a bit, and this is where newspaper comes in. She found that writing not only gave her a distraction but a clear mind and a new outlook on things she did not think about before. Newspaper gives her a way to do what she enjoys and be more aware of the current events happening around her. Whether it be what’s going on throughout the campus or what's happening in the world, it’s all flowing through Gaby’s mind. When she is not up and going, she chooses to spend her downtime hanging out with close friends and family, watching netflix, or reading a good book every now and then.
