RW: I’m a proud mom of Class of 2016, Grady Wells, and Class of 2018, Mary Catherine Wells.

TRL: How long have you lived in the area?

RW: [I] moved to Lucas in 2003 in time for my oldest to start Kindergarten at Hart Elementary.

TRL: Do you have a website?

RW: www.wells4lovejoy.com

TRL: What’s your job?

RW: I own the Goddard School of McKinney, but my job is to use my personal success as a platform to make the world around us a better place.

TRL: Why did you decide to run?

RW: I love the culture and spirit of Lovejoy, and I am passionate about education. I have a heart for service, and the most important role I can play is one protecting the values, people, and systems that have delivered the excellence that we have come to know as Lovejoy.

TRL: What would you say are your main values?

RW: Compassion, fairness, respect, responsibility, and kindness.

TRL: Did Ted Moore’s resignation affect your plans to run or your agenda at all?

RW: No.

TRL: Why do you think you would be a good addition to the school board of trustees for the next three years?

RW: I’m confident that you won’t find a person with the same combination ethics, experience, and enthusiasm for Lovejoy. I strongly believe that I will contribute to a new chapter in the Lovejoy history, even brighter than the last.
