TRL: Why did you pick the U.S.?

MMG: I wanted to improve my english but at the same time learn about a different culture, live with a family and know how they do things…

TRL: When did you start learning English?

MMG: I started learning english when I was in fifth grade

TRL: What is your favorite part about America?

MMG: it is very big, so there are so many different people, different styles…

TRL: What’s your favorite part about Texas and/or Lucas?

MMG: it is not very cold, it is kind of a rural area, and like it, because you get to know a lot of people

TRL: What is your least favorite part about America?

MMG: I don’t really like eating so much junk food, and the fact that you need a car if you live here

TRL: What is your least favorite part about Texas and/or Lucas?

MMG: I don’t really like the weather, because it’s very unpredictable

TRL: What do you miss the most, other than your family and friends, about where you live?

MMG: I miss the public transport, food and sometimes the times, meaning, when I have to wake up, have lunch…

TRL: Was it hard for you to decide to come to the U.S. for a year?

MMG: It was not, because I am not a really homesick person, besides I go every year to Germany or Austria 2-4 weeks to a camp every year

TRL: What are you looking forward to the most this year?

MMG: Living a great experience, meet new people, learn about the country and persons and improve my english
