The Red Ledger: What is your motivation for entering this competition?

Bradley Davis: I entered Mr. Lovejoy because getting up there and making a fool of myself seemed like a pretty fun thing to do. I mean what else is there to do on a Thursday afternoon before homecoming?

TRL: What makes you different from the other contestants?

BD: I’d have to say my love for Hawaiian shirts. I don’t know if anyone else out there loves Hawaiian shirts as much as I do. I think it’s an acquired taste.

TRL: How do you plan to set yourself apart from the other competitors?

BD: I guess I’ll just try to be into it as much as I can, You know, put myself all the way out there.

TRL: How have you prepared for this event in your past years of life?

BD: From the time I was a baby until about a few months ago, zero. But recently, I’ve been putting in the work to make sure it’s a good show.

TRL: How would you feel if you won the title of Mr. Lovejoy for 2017?

BD: I would feel very honored if I won the title of Mr. Lovejoy. As much as it’s a fun deal, if I won, that would be very cool. I would probably say something cheesy like ‘Now I’m going to Disney World.’
