Summer Sounds Concert Series is organized by the Allen Parks and Recreation Department for it's 17th year of bringing music to the community.
The price and distance of many summer concert events hinders many suburban citizens from attending. To help alleviate this, The Allen Parks and Recreation Department has decided to bring music closer to the community again this summer with their 17th Annual Summer Sounds Concert Series. The concerts range from a classical orchestra to old Texas country and classic rock cover bands.
The concerts are held every Monday for five weeks starting on May 25 at Joe Farmer Recreation Center at 7 p.m. The concert is free to all attendees however no seating will be provided but blankets and food is allowed. Concessions will also be available for purchase. All ages are welcome to attend.
