Starting the season with two straight losses, the football team faced questions and uncertainty.  Having lost more than 8,000 yards in offensive production from last year’s team, the first two games were a showcase of growing pains and inexperience.

However, a 64 point explosion against Frisco High School helped launch the team’s current three game winning streak.

The timing could not be better as the team opens district play this Friday night at rival Prosper.  Both teams enter the contest with identical 3-2 records, with the winner in the driver’s seat of District 11-3A.

Kickoff for Friday’s game is at 7:30 p.m.
