The girls Powder Puff teams competed for high stakes as the three-year defending champions attempted a four-year win streak their senior year. The seniors beat the freshman in the first game, followed by a close win of the juniors over the sophomores, bringing the two upper classes into the running for gold. When the heat took the championship game into the gym, the seniors lost in a controversial last play to the juniors.
