Einstein Bros Bagels is expanding across the country and an addition is being made in Allen. Details about the opening date are unknown, but construction is underway and a sign for Einstein Bagels is present.

“Einstein Noah Restaurant Group is moving with the cultural shift toward food that is fast, but never tastes that way,” Einstein Bagels says on its website. “Think fresh-baked goods, made-to-order sandwiches, crisp salads and gourmet coffee.”

Although its grand opening has yet to be determined, some students are awaiting anxiously.

“I saw the sign and I told my entire family and a few friends and we are all so excited to get bagel breakfast sandwiches before school when it opens,” freshman Turner Thompson said.

Einstein Bagels also offers a club membership that provides an assortment of promotions and deals throughout the year.

“My mom has a membership and we always get different bagel deals which is really good because then I try and find new things that I love,” sophomore Amanda Aboujaoude said.

Many students are excited about the arrival of an Allen location.

“My entire family loves Einstein’s and their sandwiches,” freshman Megan White said. “We go to the one in McKinney all the time. My favorite sandwich is the turkey club, it’s so good!”

Student athletes hope that Einstein will become a pre-game meal selection.

“I really want bagel sandwiches to be added as an option to our pre-game meals next year because they’re so good, give you energy, and are healthy too,” freshman Kim Lyne said.

This company is the largest operator of bagel bakeries and is expanding this year across the nation.

“There are only a few in the Collin County area and since their bagels are so good,” senior Gannon Voight said. “I’m sure it will be really crowded the first couple of weeks.”
