The age of Ultron has begun

The day all Avenger fans have been waiting for is here. Marvel has released the first Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer to the public and it is glorious.
It begins with a narration from the title villain Ultron (played by James Spader) talking to the Avengers about his views on them: “You want to protect the world, but you don’t want it to change. You’re all puppets, tangled in strings.” It then cuts to a montage of clips accompanied by an eerily creepy version of the “I’ve Got No Strings” song from Pinocchio which gives off a very different tone from the first film.
In these clips we see many different things, such as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch (Aaron Taylor Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen) Ultron’s drones, Hawkeye being attacked and the Hulkbuster armor. After this we see Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) saying, “This is the end. The end of the path I started us on” to which Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) responds with, “Nothing lasts forever.”
The trailer’s finale has Tony battling the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the image of Captain America’s shield broken in half (Chris Evans) while Ultron is saying “There are no strings on me.”
This trailer was well worth the long wait. It shows off the darker, more ominous feeling the film will most likely have and demonstrates that huge things are going to happen in this film but also has plenty of mystery to keep the audience intrigued.
Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released May 1, 2015 in the U.S.
